Agent Training and Development: The BreakThru Academy

Most brokerage training is a weekly meeting and a shared folder. BreakThru built a learning system into the agent portal because training that is not tracked does not happen.

How the Academy Works

Courses are made of short lessons with quizzes, so you can finish one between appointments. Your dashboard shows what you have completed and what is next. Live classes are scheduled in the same place, with reminders. Completion is visible to you and to the broker, which is how eligibility for website leads is decided fairly.

What Is Taught

Florida contracts and disclosures, pricing from closed sales, the listing presentation, the buyer consultation, negotiation after inspection, condominium documents and association approvals, working with investors, rentals, fair housing, and every tool in the portal. Specialist tracks cover luxury, commercial property and business brokerage.

Coaching on Live Deals

Courses teach the pattern; deals teach the exceptions. A broker is available for the questions that come up mid-transaction: an appraisal that comes in short, a buyer who wants to cancel, an open permit discovered a week before closing.

Florida Requirements

New sales associates must complete a 45-hour post-licensing course before their first renewal, and all licensees complete 14 hours of continuing education every two years. Those state courses are taken through approved schools; the Academy is the practical training that sits alongside them. Confirm your own deadlines with the DBPR.

Schedule a Confidential Conversation

Tell us your licence status, how long you have been licensed, the market you work, whether you want residential, commercial or business brokerage, and what you want from your next brokerage. Our broker reads every application personally and replies within one business day. Your inquiry is confidential and we never contact your current brokerage. Prefer to talk now? Call (786) 914-1017.

Questions Agents Ask

Does BreakThru provide training?
Yes. The BreakThru Academy is an in-portal learning system with on-demand courses, lessons, quizzes and live classes, covering contracts, pricing, listing presentations, buyer consultations, the technology platform and specialist tracks. New agents follow a structured path; experienced agents take what they need. A broker is available for contract and negotiation questions on live deals.
Does BreakThru accept new agents?
Yes. Newly licensed Florida sales associates are welcome and start on a structured path: Academy coursework, shadowing, supervised first transactions and a broker who reviews contracts before they go out. If you have passed the state exam but have not yet activated your license, we can explain how activation under a broker works.
Is the training mandatory?
The core path is expected of new agents, because it is what makes contract review quick and keeps clients safe. Experienced agents choose what is useful. Completing the platform courses is what makes the tools pay for themselves.
Does Academy training count as state continuing education?
No. State post-licensing and continuing education must come from a school approved by the Florida Real Estate Commission. The Academy is practical, brokerage-level training.
