Living in Juno Beach
The Town of Juno Beach, incorporated in 1953, is a small coastal town in northern Palm Beach County with Jupiter to the north and North Palm Beach to the south. It takes its name from Juno, the settlement at the north end of Lake Worth that served as the Dade County seat in the 1890s and was the southern end of the Celestial Railroad from Jupiter, and the planet names on its streets, from Mercury Road and Neptune Road to Mars Way and Celestial Way, echo that history. Ocean Drive, the town's stretch of State Road A1A, runs along the beach past the condominium buildings and meets US 1 near Donald Ross Road; north of there US 1 runs beside the dunes past Loggerhead Park, home of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and its sea turtle hospital, the Juno Beach Pier and the Juno Dunes Natural Area. West of US 1 the town reaches the Intracoastal Waterway, and at the south end stand the private Seminole Golf Club and the headquarters of Florida Power & Light and NextEra Energy on Universe Boulevard. Listings name The Conservatory School at North Palm Beach, Howell L. Watkins Middle and William T. Dwyer High for most addresses, and Lighthouse Elementary and Independence Middle at the north end; confirm the assignment with the school district. PGA Boulevard, Interstate 95 and Florida's Turnpike are a few minutes west, and Palm Beach International Airport is about twenty minutes south.
Oceanfront Condos on Ocean Drive
Most homes for sale in Juno Beach are condominiums, and the oceanfront buildings line Celestial Way and Ocean Drive from the south end of town to the pier. Around Celestial Way stand older buildings such as the Barclay and Royal Homestead, both for residents 55 and over, and the boutique Juno Shores; along the middle of Ocean Drive come Juno Ocean, the Beachfront, Oceanfront at Juno Beach, the Horizon, the Juno by the Sea buildings and the Waterfront, which span the 1970s to the 1990s; and Ocean Royale, from 2000, stands near the pier at the north end. The older buildings offer two bedroom units with direct ocean views at the entry point of the oceanfront market, while the 1990s buildings add private elevator foyers, garages and cabanas. Florida's milestone inspection and structural integrity reserve study rules apply to condominium buildings of three stories and more, which takes in nearly every building on this beach, and recent listings report finished concrete work, new roofs and funded reserves in some buildings and assessments in others, so we read the documents before the view. Sea turtles nest on this beach from spring into autumn, and the town's lighting rules decide what a beachfront building may light at night, from balconies to the pool deck.
Marinas and Docks on the Intracoastal
West of US 1, Juno Beach reaches the Intracoastal Waterway, and its boating homes are in a few communities rather than on canal streets. Bay Colony has two private marinas, with condominium units sold with deeded slips and lifts; Oak Harbour, behind a staffed gate, has a marina whose slips are sold and leased, sometimes to owners who live elsewhere; and Frenchman's Harbor, a guard gated enclave near Donald Ross Road, has houses on a private canal with their own docks. Listings in all three describe a route to the ocean with no fixed bridges; boats reach the Atlantic through the Jupiter Inlet to the north or the Palm Beach Inlet by Peanut Island to the south, parts of the waterway here are no wake zones, and we confirm the clearance of every bridge on the route you plan to use. For every home or slip we confirm the slip length and beam, the lift capacity, the depth at low tide, whether the slip is deeded, assigned or leased, the seawall and the dock permits, and the flood zone, which on the Intracoastal side is often AE where the interior streets are X.
Houses, Townhomes and New Construction
Houses are the smaller part of the Juno Beach market, and most stand within a few blocks of the ocean on short streets off Ocean Drive and US 1: Juno Heights on Neptune Road, Sea View Ridge on Apollo Drive, Surfside Hills, Old Towne at Juno Beach by Pelican Lake, Ocean Winds on Ocean Ridge Way and the plats on Mars Way and Jupiter Lane, plus a few houses on Celestial Way directly on the sand. Lots are small and land is scarce, so houses from the 1960s to the 1990s are renovated or replaced by new custom homes of two and three stories, built to the current flood elevation with impact glass, elevators and terraces for the view. Townhomes fill the middle at Juno Dunes, Ocean Trace, Sea Oats, Oak Harbour and the boutique Ocean One enclave. The largest new project is Caretta, a condominium community of ninety five residences at US 1 and Donald Ross Road, about four hundred yards from the beach, with a restaurant on site, a rooftop pool and a fitness center, delivering residences from 2026. Ask for the plans, the permits, the builder's warranty and the association documents in writing before you contract on anything new.
Neighborhoods
Juno Beach is small enough that buyers shop it building by building and street by street. On the ocean, the Juno by the Sea buildings, the Horizon, the Beachfront, Oceanfront at Juno Beach, the Waterfront and Ocean Royale line Ocean Drive, while the Barclay, Royal Homestead and Juno Shores stand on Celestial Way at the south end, the first two for residents 55 and over. On the Intracoastal, Bay Colony and Oak Harbour are the marina communities and Frenchman's Harbor is the gated enclave of canal houses with docks. Ocean Trace, Sea Oats of Juno Beach and Juno Dunes offer condos and townhomes below oceanfront prices, and Juno Heights, Sea View Ridge, Surfside Hills, Old Towne at Juno Beach, Ocean Winds and Ocean One hold the houses and new homes near the sand. Each has its own page with live listings and recent sales, the new Caretta condominium has a building page of its own, and the oceanfront, dock, gated, luxury and new construction pages below cut the whole town the way buyers search it.
Selling a Home in Juno Beach
Your Juno Beach buyer may already be looking. BreakThru Realty works with hundreds of prequalified buyers searching for properties. Each one tells us the areas, the price range, the property type and the features they want, and we keep that on file. Before you list, a broker checks your home against those requests and prices it from recent MLS sales near it, and if no buyer on file fits, the plan reaches the rest of the market. A Juno Beach condominium is priced by its building, its exposure and its floor before its finishes: a direct ocean corner at Oceanfront at Juno Beach, a renovated two bedroom unit in a 1970s building on Ocean Drive and a marina view unit at Bay Colony with a deeded slip are three different markets, and within one building the rebuilt units and the originals trade far apart. Buyers now ask for the milestone inspection report, the structural integrity reserve study and any assessment before they ask about the kitchen, so we assemble those documents with the listing. A house is priced on its distance to the beach, its lot, its elevation and whether a buyer will keep it or replace it, and a slip on the Intracoastal is priced on its length, its lift and whether it is deeded. New residences at Caretta are part of the comparison for any large condominium in town. Start with a free valuation built on recent MLS sales in your building or on your street, ask for a full comparative market analysis, or request a cash offer if you need a fast, as is sale.
Investing in Juno Beach
Investment in Juno Beach mostly means the furnished seasonal condominium: units in the oceanfront buildings, at Juno Shores and at Bay Colony lease by the month or the season to winter residents and families, and some buildings allow annual leases as well, so the association's minimum term, the number of leases it allows a year and any waiting period after purchase decide whether a unit can be let at all. Houses near the beach lease furnished for the winter at a premium, and the townhomes at Ocean Trace, Sea Oats and Juno Dunes lease by the year or the season. The other play is renovation or replacement: an older house on a small lot near the ocean bought to rebuild, subject to the flood elevation, the setbacks and, on the oceanfront, the state coastal permit. There is no multifamily market to speak of. Our team prices rents from the live Juno Beach leases and checks the association rules before you offer, and the price reduced page shows the sellers who have cut the price.

Juno Beach Real Estate FAQ
- Where is Juno Beach, Florida?
- Juno Beach is a town in northern Palm Beach County on the Atlantic coast, between Jupiter to the north and North Palm Beach to the south, with US 1 and State Road A1A running through it and the Intracoastal Waterway on its west side. PGA Boulevard and The Gardens Mall are a few minutes away, Interstate 95 and Florida's Turnpike are a short drive west on Donald Ross Road or PGA Boulevard, and Palm Beach International Airport is about twenty minutes south.
- How much does a home in Juno Beach cost?
- The range inside Juno Beach is wide. Units at Ocean Trace and Sea Oats and two bedroom homes in the 1970s buildings on Ocean Drive are the way in, larger oceanfront residences and the marina condos at Bay Colony and Oak Harbour sit in the middle, and the new residences at Caretta, the large units at Oceanfront at Juno Beach and Ocean Royale and the new houses near the beach carry the highest prices. The market table on this page shows the current median list and sold prices for houses and condos, updated daily from the MLS.
- Is every Juno Beach address in the Town of Juno Beach?
- Not always. The MLS uses Juno Beach for some homes outside the town limits, among them streets such as Juno Isles in North Palm Beach and pockets of unincorporated Palm Beach County, and the 33408 ZIP code is shared with North Palm Beach. Check the municipality on the property tax record before you compare taxes, building rules or rental rules, because the Town of Juno Beach sets its own.
- Can I keep a boat in Juno Beach?
- Yes. Bay Colony and Oak Harbour have marinas on the Intracoastal Waterway where slips are deeded, assigned or leased, and some Oak Harbour slips can be owned without a home in the community. Frenchman's Harbor has houses with private docks on a canal off the waterway. Boats reach the Atlantic through the Jupiter Inlet to the north or the Palm Beach Inlet to the south, and listings in these communities describe a route with no fixed bridges. We confirm the slip length, the lift, the depth at low tide and the clearance of every bridge on your route for each boater we represent.
- What should I check before buying an oceanfront condo in Juno Beach?
- Most buildings on Ocean Drive and Celestial Way date from the 1960s to the 1990s, so the milestone inspection report, the structural integrity reserve study, the budget and any assessment already voted matter as much as the view. Ask about the leasing rules and the minimum term, the pet policy, any age rule, the parking and storage, the storm protection on the unit and how the building meets the town's sea turtle lighting rules. We pull the documents for any building you are serious about and read them with you before you offer.
- What is my Juno Beach home worth?
- Request a free valuation and we build it from the closed sales that match your home: the same building, exposure and floor for a condominium, adjusted for renovation and for the building's reserve and inspection position, or the same distance to the beach, lot and elevation for a house. A slip that conveys is valued on its own. A townwide median means little in a town where one building can trade at several times another. For a listing decision we prepare a full comparative market analysis, and owners who need a fast sale can request a cash offer.
- Do you already have buyers looking for homes in Juno Beach?
- BreakThru Realty works with hundreds of prequalified buyers searching for properties. We keep each buyer's requirements on file: the neighborhoods, the price range, the property type and the features they are waiting for. Whether one of them fits your home is something a licensed broker checks for your property specifically, before the call. Your home may be the one a buyer is waiting to find; we confirm it before we call it a match, and a potential match is a conversation, not an offer.
