Pet-friendly rentals in Miami depend on two sets of rules. In a house in Westchester, Calusa or Flagami with no homeowners association, the owner alone decides, and a fenced yard often makes a dog easier to approve. In a condo, the association's pet rules apply as well as the owner's: Kings Creek's villages each set their own, downtown towers usually cap the number and weight of pets, and The Hammocks sections have rules on top of the community association. Miami owners usually add a pet deposit or monthly pet rent, and their insurer may exclude certain breeds. Send the vaccination records with your Miami application rather than after it, because an association can take weeks to approve the animal separately from you.
