The city-owned Miami Beach Golf Club in Bayshore is ringed by houses and low-rise buildings such as Bayshore Terrace, the city-owned Normandy Shores Golf Club is surrounded by a guard-gated section of houses and condos including Normandy Shores Yacht and Country Club, and the private La Gorce Country Club in Mid-Beach has houses along North Bay Road, La Gorce Drive and Pine Tree Drive. Renting beside La Gorce does not include the club; membership is by application and separate from any home. The city runs the other two, so ask the course rather than the owner about fees. Ask how early the mowers start, because a Miami Beach fairway home hears them.
