Rentals with a dock and ocean access in Brickell are rarer than the MLS flag suggests. The ocean-access mark usually reflects a bayfront or riverfront tower's position, and few units come with a slip; where a building on Brickell Key or the Miami River keeps dockage, it is assigned by the association and often to owners only. The houses at the south end of Brickell Avenue near Vizcaya are the exception, with a few on the water. Ask the owner in writing whether any slip is part of the lease and its length and depth limits. If a boat is the point of the move, most Brickell renters end up leasing a slip at a marina on Virginia Key, at Bayside or in Coconut Grove and renting for the view.
