Jupiter has three kinds of salt water and the price follows which one you get. The Loxahatchee River runs through the middle of town, and Jupiter River Estates, Pennock Point and the streets off Center Street sit on the river and its canals with docks and a short run to the inlet. The Intracoastal side holds the deep-water homes of Admirals Cove, Jonathan's Landing and Jupiter Harbour. The ocean side along A1A is mostly condominium, with the beach-block houses of Sea Colony behind it. West of the Turnpike the water turns fresh, in the lakes of the golf communities. Fixed bridges on the river cap vessel height, so in Jupiter the route out matters as much as the frontage itself.
