Admirals Cove and Jonathan's Landing sit on the Intracoastal with marinas inside the gate, and Jupiter Harbour gates a smaller waterfront community near the lighthouse. The Loxahatchee Club and Jupiter Country Club are the golf gates west of town, the first with a required membership and the second selling membership separately in most sections. Sea Colony gates a small group of houses across from the beach with its own access to the sand. Outside them, Pennock Point, Jupiter River Estates and Jupiter Farms have no gate and no mandatory association at all, which is a genuine choice in Jupiter and not simply a cheaper one.
