The Original Townsite is the Town of Lake Worth plat and its first addition: the grid of lettered streets and numbered avenues that runs from the Lake Worth Lagoon west toward I-95, with downtown on Lake and Lucerne Avenues at its centre. It takes in Parrot Cove along North Lakeside Drive, the streets around Bryant Park and much of the city's historic housing: 1920s and 1930s cottages and Spanish Revival bungalows, mid-century homes, and duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes, most with no homeowners association.
