The Coral Gables Riviera Section spreads around the Riviera Country Club golf course near the University of Miami and continues south of US-1 into the streets buyers call South Gables. It is a neighbourhood of single-family homes: 1950s and 1960s ranch houses, many renovated with pools, and new custom houses under old oaks on streets such as Castania Avenue and Maggiore Street, with the landmark Italian Village inside the section. Riviera Country Club is a private club, so a fairway view and club access are separate questions.
